It's a pop-up.
It's experiential learning.
It's an art fair and a performance space.
It's an event open to the public.
It's a mini-festival, a series of classes, workshops and, most of all, an opportunity to show the public what artists can do!
It's Create. Innovate. Repeat.. Entrepreneurs and Artists Unite! is an experiential entrepreneurial happening.
WHO WE ARE
Sponsored by the Institute For Arts Entrepreneurship™, this week-long event will help all walks of artists evaluate their potential for launching a creative business. The event will be open to the public and advertised directly to the Lakeview neighborhood where the space is located. Participating artists will have the opportunity to sell work, meet potential clients and gain critical feedback from peers and professionals alike. No matter your creative discipline, we want you to step outside your comfort zone and gain invaluable real world experience to make sure your brand or business stands out in the crowded marketplace.
Calling All Artists!
Our first Create. Innovate. Repeat. open to the public "entrepreneurial happening" will take place Saturday April 24th, 2010 through Saturday May 1st, 2010.
During this week you can:
- Teach a class/workshop on anything you know a lot about
- Perform and/or exhibit
The classes and workshops are offered from 6pm - 11pm from April 25th-April 30th and are open to the public. Classes are an hour long. Teaching a class/workshop will no doubt sharpen your creative, innovative and critical thinking about how to communicate to your potential audience. And it is a chance for you to share with the community what you do and know.
